This Imperial tug was part of the task force that was dispatched to capture the Pondut research station, during the months that followed the Battle of Hoth. The station was owned by Galactic Electronics, a small corporation that was in league with the Alliance to Restore the Republic. Imperial forces disabled and captured the station, and the 4f93 was among the many support vessels that helped offload the station's equipment and supplies.
