Phase II Armor

This was the name given to the second generation of clone trooper armor produced for the Grand Army of the Republic, during the early stages of the Clone Wars. Phase II Armor provided better protection and a wider range of configurations for the clone troopers, allowing them to operate in a large number of planetary environments. Phase II armor served as the basis for the specialized armor that was worn by the Shadow Troopers.
