Jukassa, Zett

Category: Characters
Type: Human
Planet of Origin: Mon Gazza

Zett Jukassa was portrayed by Jett Lucas in Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith.

This young Padawan was among the many students of the Force who were training at the Jedi Temple on Coruscant when the Clone Wars broke out across the galaxy. He was born with the name Warpoc Skamini to parents who were ore miners on Mon Gazza, but was taken as an infant to be brought up on Coruscant. When he was seven, Zett began experiencing strange visions of his parents' deaths, and the Jedi Knight Mierme Unill determined that his visions were connected to the murder of several miners on Mon Gazza. She received permission to tell Zett about his past, in an effort to solve the murders. It was then that he learned his true name, Warpoc Skamini, and the names of his parents, Sembric and Ashielle. After Mierme Unill exposed a group of Black Sun extortionists as the killers, she took Zett as her Padawan. However, she was killed in battle during the Clone Wars, and Zett's training fell to Cin Drallig. In the wake of the First Battle of Coruscant, after Darth Sidious revealed his true nature and killed Mace Windu, Zett was one of the few younglings to survive the initial attack of Anakin Skywalker on those Jedi still in the Jedi Temple. Zett fought bravely, and nearly escaped to the outside of the Temple before being overrun and shot to death by Sergeant Fox, who had been trying to keep Senator Bail Organa from entering the Temple. An official report later issued on Imperial HoloVision claimed that Jukassa had been killed while trying to assassinate Senator Organa.
