Oversector
Category: LocationsAs described in the Tarkin Doctrine, an Oversector was an area of the galaxy that was delineated by those star systems in which open rebellion was just starting. As described by Grand Moff Tarkin, existing sector boundaries no longer mattered, as any existing sectors would simply be included in an Oversector's boundaries. The combined military might of the Oversector's attendant Imperial fleet could then be used to quell any rebellious activities. Tarkin himself recommended that three Sector Groups be assigned to each Oversector.
