Gorrister
This man served the Imperial Navy as a Commander aboard the Star Destroyer that was deployed to the Unknown Regions of the galaxy, as part of the development of Imperial Bioweapons Project I71A, during the years leading up to the Battle of Yavin. When the contagion was the project's main focus escaped into the ship's atmosphere, Commander Gorrister was among the handful of crew members who proved to be immune to its effects. However, the survivors found themselves facing the re-animated corpses of their dead comrades, and were forced to hide in the relative safety of a Sentinel-class shuttle in the Star Destroyer's hangar bay. Gorrister and the other survivors were horrified when the re-animated corpses began working together to activate one of the Star Destroyer's tractor beams, using it to draw in passing starships, in an attempt to acquire new hosts and a possible way to get off the stranded Star Destroyer. The survivors lived for ten weeks by making short forays out from the shuttle to gather food, water, and weapons. When the food ran out an dit became too dangerous to move far beyond the safety of the shuttle, Gorrister and the survivors began to draw lots to determine which of them would be cannibalized in order to preserve the lives of the others.
They were eventually discovered by Captain Jareth Sartoris, who had been commanding the prison barge Purge when it experienced engine trouble near the Star Destroyer's location. Gorrister held Sartoris' attention as he explained what had happened to the ship's crew, while two of his companions injected Sartoris with a dose of Norbutal to render him unconscious and unable to resist. However, Sartoris was much stronger than the survivors anticipated, and he was able to shake of the drug's effects. Sartoris was able to grab Gorrister by the collar and ram his head into the shuttle's hatch, which had been locked to keep the corpses outside. Gorrister's skull was caved in by the impact, and Sartoris threw his dead body out to the re-animated corpses. He also threw any other survivors who tried to attack him out of the shuttle, using their bodies to distract the corpses long enough to make his way to deactivate the Star Destroyer's tractor beam.

She was allowed to keep her starship, although it was grounded, so she turned it into a small restaurant that came to be known as Gunn's Diner. Lalo kept a watchful eye on the natives, and was able to use her hair coloration to blend in with the surrounding population. About a year after the Battle of Geonosis, Lalo Gunn welcomed a group of strangers into her home. The strangers, including Nuru Kungurama and three clone troopers named Breaker, Chatterbox, and Knuckles, were posing as farmers, but Lalo was able to see through their disguises. She was surprised to learn from Nuru that the galaxy was caught up in the Clone Wars, since the Trade Federation's jamming of all planetary transmissions also eliminated any incoming HoloNet connections. She also explained that the KynachTech facility was now producing droids and weapons, and that there were rumors of prison cells being hidden deep inside. The reality of the war hit home when a group of Separatist battle droids tracked Nuru and the clones to Gunn's Diner, attacking her droid Teejay before being driven off by the clones, with help from Cad Bane. With Bane's help and Lalo's knowledge, the group came up with a plan to infiltrate the KynachTech Industries factory and free any prisoners who were being held there. The mission proved largely successful, although Breaker was badly injured when the factory's self-destruction system was activated by Overseer Umbrag, and Jedi Master Ring-Sol Ambase was not found among the captives. When Nuru later communicated the situation to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, he was charged by Jedi Master Yoda to attend a diplomatic meeting between the Republic and the Chiss. Lalo Gunn agreed to take Nuru to the meeting, which was to take place at a space station in the Unknown Regions.

Imperial Bioweapons Project I71A
Codenamed Blackwing, this project was developed by the Imperial Biological Weapons Division, during the years leading up to the Battle of Yavin. The project, secretly funded by the Empire, was begun at a hidden research laboratory on Meglumine, until all research and development was carried out within the confines of a single Star Destroyer that was deployed to the Unknown Regions of the galaxy. The use of a Star Destroyer that was sent to the farthest reaches of the galaxy was as much an attempt to keep the project secret as it was a safety mechanism that was meant to prevent any unexpected problems from causing trouble on a planet or other world. The focus of this project was on the development of a contagion that was nearly always fatal, yet could continue to multiply and recreate more of itself even after the death of its host. The contagion was developed to quickly reproduce once it had found a suitable host, yet remain largely dormant until it had produced sufficient numbers that it could overtake its host without any possible chance of recovery by the host. Initially, the host exhibited a hacking cough, which was soon followed by seizures and vomiting. Within a few hours, the host's lungs began to fail, and the host died shortly afterward. Although the symptoms were similar in most humanoid races, there were species-specific differences. Wookiees, for example, experienced a massive swelling of the throat and tongue, which contintued until the host's throat burst open, cutting off the Wookiee's ability to breath. For these reasons, development of project I71A was halted on a laboratory on Meglumine and transferred to the remote Star Destroyer. About a year before the Battle of Yavin, the Star Destroyer was ordered to a testing facility on Khonji Seven, but the contagion escaped from its laboratory when a leak occurred in a holding container, and the entire crew of the ship was infected. Within hours, the ship was a stranded derelict, and all but a small percentage of beings who had a genetic resistance to the contagion had been killed. The Star Destroyer was later discovered by the crew of the Imperial Prison Barge Purge, which experienced engine trouble and drifted near the ship's location in the Unknown Regions. The crew of the Purge hoped to salvage parts from the Star Destroyer, but inadvertently brought the contagin back to the barge. The crew there was similarly infected and killed, with the exception of six immune survivors. Among these survivors were Doctor Zahara Cody and Trig Longo. Doctor Cody was able to learn something about the contagion on her own, while treating the patients who arrived at her infirmary. One side effect of the contagion's ability to reproduce and overwhelm its host was the unusual re-animation of the host's body after it had died from the basic contagion. The contagion had a way to take over the nerve receptors it its host's body, firing muscles and sparking the synapses of the brain. This ensured that the contagion could continue to multiply, even though the host was essentially dead. Another unexpected side effect was the unusual behavior of a re-animated host. The contagion itself was capable of working as single units to reproduce, but as its number grew, it developed a sort of quorum sensing capability that allowed the entire population of the contagion to act toward the single goal of overwhelming the host and reproducing itself. Once the contagion had infected the brain of a host and re-animated the body, the individual corpses were little more than mindless feeding machines that existed to spread the contagion to new hosts. However, these re-animated corpses could not feed on each other, as the contagion required new, living hosts in which to breed. Thus, as more and more corpses appeared in a given area, they began to exhibit the same quorum-sensing capabilities of the contagion, which used its new hosts' abilities to find new ways to locate living beings and spread. The corpses began to learn to work together, remembering pieces of their former selves until they could regain knowledge that they had in life. Once a single member of the group learned something, the contagion was able to communicate it to other members of the group. In this way, a group of corpses would eventually learn to pool its resources in an attempt to spread the contagion beyond their current environment.
The corpses aboard the Star Destroyer found a way to activate the ship's tractor beam, and began pulling in starships, hoping to find one that was capable of transporting them to another location. Among the ships they captured was the Purge, which brought Doctor Cody and another group of beings into their grasp. The corpses realized that the Purge was the perfect escape vehicle, but the farther they got from the Star Destroyer, the less able the corpses were to continue to function. Doctor Cody realized that the farther the corpses got from the concentrated contagion stored aboard the Star Destroyer, the weaker their link became to the source. Thus, the quorum sensing that the corpses exhibited became less cohesive, and the individual corpses soon died. Cody realized that this was the primary flaw in the Blackwing operation, and the reason that a re-animated corpse continued to produce the contagion: the reanimated bodies could never move far enough away from a huge concentration of the contagion to actually threaten the entire galaxy. As it moved away from the source, the contagion began to deteriorate, and was soon unable to keep the re-animated corpse functioning. The corpse collapsed and died, and the contagion eventually expired.

This series of half-hour news specials was hosted by Javis Tyrr, and was aired in the wake of the strange events surrounding Valin and Jysella Horn. Many of the early shows focused on the actions of the two Jedi when they began to experience Force-related psychoses and caused damage to public citizens and property, and took advantage of growing anti-Jedi sentiment by posing questions about the safety of the public in a world where the Jedi Order was not controlled by the government. Kloth
This man served as the Warden of the Imperial Prison Barge Purge, about a year before the Battle of Yavin. In order to make his office aboard the barge appear larger and more important, Kloth filled its walls with holomurals and other video screens, many of which were surplus items that he had acquired over his career. The only window in the office was a huge viewport that showed the expanse of space outside the ship, adding to the sense of grandeur. This interior design mirrored Kloth's own personal demeanor, as many of his peers regarded him has an outwardly bureaucratic man who lacked the initiative and bravery to act on his own. Kloth was known to remain mostly in his offices, especially when it was time to make majro decisions. When the Purge experienced problems with its drives while moving through the Unknown Regions, Warden Kloth and the rest of his crew were surprised to find a Star Destroyer in the immediate vicinity. The Star Destroyer appeared to have been abandoned, although a dozen life-forms were detected by the Purge's scanners. Kloth sent Captain Jareth Sartoris and an engineering crew to the Star Destroyer, hoping that some of its drive components could be salvaged to repair the Purge. Kloth explained that the mission was an opportunity for Sartoris to redeem himself, after he was accused of murdering Von Longo. The engineering crew returned with parts that could be used to repair the barge, but they also carried with them an unusual contagion that swept through the ship, killing most of its passengers in a matter of hours. Kloth himself became infected, and was confronted by Sartoris. Although Kloth tried to fight against the infection, Sartoris simply drew his blasters and shot Kloth in the head, hoping to ensure that the Warden would not spread the infection any further.

The ship came under heavy fire, and Knuckles was knocked into the door of utility locker while trying to reach an escape pod. A blue-skinned boy fell out of the locker, and Knuckles was forced to protect the youth as they made their escape with Breaker and Chatterbox. The boy turned out to be Nuru Kungurama, the Padawan apprentice of the Jedi who was commanding the mission, Ring-Sol Ambase. Knuckles muscled Nuru into an escape pod, and along with several other clone troopers, they blasted away to the planet's surface. Kryze, Satine
This noble woman was a Duchess who hailed from the planet Kalevala. As a young woman, Satince was forced to flee from Kalevala during a period of civil war, and she was escorted to Mandalore by Qui-Gon Jinn and his Padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi. Satine and Kenobi developed a deep friendship that might have turned into something more romantic, following an adventure on Draboon, if Kenobi's vows to the Jedi Order had not been so deep. They parted ways on amicable terms, and didn't see each other for many years. During the era of the Clone Wars, Duchess Satine was named the leader of the Council of Neutral Systems, giving her the power to influence a number of star systems. However, despite the Council's stated intention of staying out of the war, rumors surfaced that Duchess Satine was amassing a huge army on the planet Mandalore. When an old acquaintence in the form of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi arrived on Mandalore to investigate these rumors, Duchess Satine was outwardly surprised when he produced a recording of a Mandalorian terrorist who killed himself rather than be captured by Republic forces. She explained that she had been working toward a new vision of a peaceful Mandalore, but the members of the Death Watch - who had been exiled to the moon Concordia - were causing the trouble that was leading to the rumors. As if to underscore her concerns, a terrorist bombed the Peace Park that was established in Sundari, at the same moment that Duchess Satine was escorting Kenobi on a tour of the city. She then agreed to accompany Kenobi to Concordia, to return the body of the terrorist to its home and to investigate the presence of the Death Watch. She covered for Kenobi during a dinner with Governor Pre Vizsla, claiming that Kenobi was absent because he was meditating, and not actually carrying on his own secret investigation. After Vizsla revealed that he was the leader of the Death Watch, he was defeated in combat by Kenobi, and forced to flee. Although she refused to believe that the Separatists were involved in Mandalorian politics, Duchess Satine returned to Mandalore with Kenobi and several Senators who represented the Council of Neutral Systems, and agreed to travel to Coruscant to ask for independence in dealing with the Death Watch threat. However, Duchess Satine resented the presence of Kenobi, his clones, and his former Padawan, Anakin Skywalker, aboard her transport vessel Coronet. She argued with Kenobi about this during the trip to Coruscant, and their arguments soon reached the ears of the other Senators. Unknown to most of the others aboard the ship, Senator Tal Merrik had secretly brought a group of assassin probes aboard the ship, hoping to capture Satine and silence her. When Kenobi discovered that Merrik was behind the appearance of the killing droids, Merrik grabbed Satine and used her as a hostage to make his way to the bridge. There, he killed the crew and rigged the ship's engines to explode if he wasn't allowed to escape. Merrik continued to use Duchess Satine as a living shield as he made his way to an escape pod, bt he was distracted when Kenobi arrived. Satine appeared to openly declare her love for Kenobi, and Kenobi admitted that he still loved her. With Merrik griping about their show of affection, Satine stepped on his foot and twisted in his grip, freeing herself and taking possession of Merrik's blaster.
Once safely on Coruscant, Duchess Satine addressed the Galactic Senate, explaining that the Death Watch was not a galactic concern, and that Mandalore would deal with it. Unfortunately, Chancellor Palpatine produced a recording in which Deputy Minister Jerec explained the Death Watch was much stronger than the Mandalorian government let on. Without proof of her own, Satine was forced to watch helplessly as Chancellor Palpatine called for a vote to send Republic troops to Mandalore. Storming out of the Senate Rotunda, Duchess Satine was attacked by a Mandalorian warrior, and only barely managed to leap to safety before her speeder crashed into a building. Palpatine refused to investigate the crash, since there appeared to be no evidence to support her claim of an assassination attempt. Duchess Satine's faith in the Republic was shaken, but came into serious question when the Senate voted to send Republic troops to Mandalore, without her being present. Davu Golec later provided the Duchess with intelligence that proved Deputy Minister Jerec's statements had been forged, but Satine knew that turning this data over to the Republic had to be done properly. She gave the recordings to Senator Padme' Amidala, then turned herself in after she was wanted in connection with the assassination of Davu Golec. Satine's interrogation was interrupted by Senator Amidala, who presented the actual recordings of Jerec's statements to the authorities. Although Chancellor Palpatine offered his apologies, Satine knew that there was still trouble ahead on Mandalore.

Nuru continued to train on the planet Coruscant as the Clone Wars engulfed the galaxy, doing his best to control his emotions whiel trying to please his new Master. About a year after Geonosis, Master Ambase was asked to investigate the appearance of a KynachTech Industries circuit board found among the wreckage of the Separatist warship Malevolence, but he demanded that Nuru remain on Coruscant. This did not feel right to Nuru, because Master Skaa had also left him behind when the fighting started on Geonosis. The difference was that Master Skaa never explained that he was leaving, so Nuru appreciated Master Ambase's consideration of his feelings. Even with this gesture, however, Nuru had a distinct feeling that Master Ambase would not return from the mission, and so Nuru decided to stow away aboard Ambase's ship.Nuru took with him the lightsaber that he had secretly constructed, hoping that his instruction with low-powered training lightsabers would be enough to keep him alive, if he were forced to use the weapon. As he boarded the ship, Nuru had to use the Force to influence a clone trooper who happened to spy him, rubbing out the clone's memory. The trip passed quickly, but when they arrived at Kynachi, they found the planet being blockaded by Separatist forces. The Separatists attacked them almost immediately, and their ship took heavy fire. Nuru, who was hidden in a utility locker, wasn't aware of what was happening until a blast rocked the ship, and a clone trooper named Knuckles that thrown into the door of the locker. The door popped open, and Knuckles was forced to drag Nuru to the nearest escape pod, where they managed to flee the ship with Chatterbox and Breaker, who had been the clone Nuru first encountered aboard their ship. Upon reaching the surface of Kynachi, the clones turned to Nuru for advice on what to do next, and Knuckles became frustrated when he didn't have an immediate answer. Nuru realized that the clones were looking at him as a Jedi, not just a student, and he quickly established a simple plan.
They made their way toward the nearest settlement, and were taken in by Lalo Gunn. Unfortunately, their presence on the planet was discovered by Trade Federation agents, and a group of battle droids were sent to eliminate them. Although Nuru felt he was up to the challenge of facing the droids, Breaker shoved him out of the way to make sure Nuru survived the attack. Nuru was glad for the effort when the group discovered that the Separatist droids who were searching for himself and the clones. Lalo Gunn then explained that the Separatists had taken over the KynachTech Industries factory, and were using it as a prison facility. With help from Cad Bane, who claimed to be simply looking for someone in the factory, Nuru and the clones devised a plan to infiltrate the factory and rescue the captives, hoping that they would be able to locate Master Ambase and any surviving clones. The mission proved successful, although Breaker was killed in the attempt when Overseer Umbrag set off the factory's self-destruction mechanism. Knuckles jokingly referred to their unit as Breakout Squad, since they were able to break the prisoners out of the factory. However, Master Ambase was not among the captives who were freed, although Cad Bane did return his lightsaber to Nuru.
Upon returning to Gunn's Diner, Nuru made contact with the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, and was surprised to meet with Jedi Master Yoda and Chancellor Palpatine, who petitioned Master Yoda to allow Nuru to serve as the Jedi representative on a diplomatic mission to meet with the Chiss. Breakout Squad was charged with protecting Nuru during the mission.

The leadership of Kynachi chose to sever its ties to the Galactic Republic, and the planet adopted an isolationist government. Although Kynachi was outwardly neutral during the Clone Wars, pieces of KynachTech circuitry was found in the wreckage of the Separatist warship Malevolence by a squad of clone troopers from the Grand Army of the Republic. While the Republic went about launching an investigation, Separatist naval forces blockaded the planet, led by the bounty hunter Cad Bane.

Lake of Apparitions
According to the Mind Walkers, the Lake of Apparitions was located near the Throne of Balance. One end of the Lake was surrounded by a low meadow that was strewn with boulders and hummocks, each of which cast a reflection on the lake. However, instead of seeing mirror images of these inanimate objects on the surface, visitors to the Lake of Apparitions saw reflections of other visitors who had come to the Lake. These reflections were visible about ten centimeters below the surface of the Lake, hovering just above the depths, and were the images of exceptionally strong beings whose Force presence had become separated from their physical bodies. However, the Mind Walkers were uncertain if the Lake of Apparitions was where these Force presences dwelt, or if it was simply a way for them to look out on those who were still connected to their bodies. Over time, most of the Force presences in the Lake seemed to depart, and no longer show themselves to new visitors. The other end of the Lake was known as the Mirror of Remembrance, and the deepest parts of the Lake were known as the Depths of Eternity. Any being who waded into the Lake of Apparitions found that the water was generally about calf high, although movement through the water caused no ripples or waves, nor was there any sound associated sloshing through the water.

Cut was away on business when the clones arrived, and Suu reluctantly let them use the family's barn to tend to their injured Captain, Rex. When Cut returned home to confront the clones, he had to deal with Rex's open contempt at having abandoned the military. Cut calmly explained that he had no desire to keep on killing, and had made his choice to defend his family. Their debate continued for many hours, with both clones stating their positions and accepting the other man's opinions and beliefs. Longo, Kale
This young man, along with his younger brother Trig and their father, Von, were among the prisoners who were captured by the Empire for suspected rebel activities on their homeworld of Cimarosa, more than a year before the Battle of Yavin. They were placed aboard the prison barge Purge for transport to a penal colony, and found themselves struggling to survive. Von had made a deal with Sixtus Cleft to gain a measure of safety from the gangs of thugs that formed among the general population of prisoners, but he died before sealing the deal with Cleft. Kale decided to follow up with the deal, in order to protect himself and Trig, but they found that Sixtus had been murdered by Aur Myss. Myss confronted the boys, but Kale refused to be bullied. In order to make an escape, he reached out and yanked Myss' lower lip from his face. Although the brothers managed to escape, Aur Myss placed a ten-thousand-credit bounty on their heads, knowing that one of the prisoners would eventually turn them in.When the Purge experienced engine trouble and a repair crew was dispatched to a derelict ship to salvage parts, they brought back with them a strange contagion that swept through the ship. Within hours, prisoners and officers alike were dying from the infection, although Trig and Kale seemed to be immune. Without someone to monitor them, the locks on the detention cell bars were opened, and Myss made his move to kill the brothers. He attacked Kale first, giving Trig on opportunity to eliminate the Delphanian by strangling him. Myss, who seemed to have been infected, whirled around and grabbed Trig, but this allowed Kale to pick up a knife and stab Myss in the skull. After discovering that it had been ICO Wembly who had opened the cells, in order to give any survivors a chance to get free, Trig and Kale made their way out into the Gen Pop area of the barge. They were surprised by Captain Jareth Sartoris, who was believed to have been involved in the death of Von Longo. Sartoris gave them a sneer before sealing himself in the only operating escape pod. The idea of escaping became more important after the brothers met up with the other survivors, Zahara Cody and two prisoners, Han Solo and Chewbacca. Unfortunately, Sartoris had overridden the hatches on the escape pods, so Cody went to the bridge to try and release them.
Solo and the Wookiee went with Doctor Cody, leaving Trig and Kale to monitor the escape pods. Kale thought he heard something in the corridor near them, and set out to determine what had made the noise. When he returned, Kale found that Trig had been attacked by something that had come out of the escape pods. The brothers then tried to reach Doctor Cody and the others on the bridge, but were confronted by the re-animated corpse of their father. Trig was rescued by Solo and Chewbacca, but Kale was too stunned to move. Another corpse grabbed him by the leg and inflicted a deep gash, and the combination of pain and confusion forced Kale to faint. He came to in the infirmary, where Cody was treating the injury to his leg. Kale pleaded with Cody to amputate the leg, not because of any pain, but because he could sense something growing within the wound and trying to move through the rest of his body. When Cody refused to act, Kale removed the bandages and showed her what was happening. The contagion was reproducing rapidly, taking over the flesh of his leg and moving up toward his waist and hips. Cody then made an incision in Kale's abdomen, and began removing lumps of diseased flesh in an attempt to eliminate the contagion from his body.
In the meantime, the group made their way to the derelict Star Destroyer, in an attempt to discover what was happening and make their escape. Cody carried Kale as best she could, but her slow progress meant that a group of re-animated bodies could catch up to them. The undead had learned to use weapons, and began firing at them. Unfortunately, one of the blasts hit Kale squarely in the face, taking out half of his skull and killing him instantly. Cody was forced to drop his body and run for her life, but the contagion eventually killed and then re-animated Kale's body. Trig soon caught sight of Kale and tried to follow him, unware that Kale had been taken over the by contagion. Kale then tried to attack his former brother and infect him, but Trig managed to wrestle his body to a ventilation shaft and throw it down the vent, where Kale's body was torn apart.

Unfortunately, Cleft was murdered by his boss, Aur Myss, leaving the brothers at the mercy of the Face Gang. Kale refused to be bullied, and ripped out several of the facial piercings that cover the face of Aur Myss, earning them both a ten-thousand-credit bounty for their capture. The boys were able to escape from the Face Gang, but Myss placed a ten-thousand-credit bounty on their heads, and found a way to move into a cell next to the Longo brothers. When the Purge experienced engine trouble and a repair crew was dispatched to a derelict ship to salvage parts, they brought back with them a strange contagion that swept through the ship. Just as Cody was set to open the escape pods, Trig realized that something was inside the pod, scratching to get out. The creature leapt from the escape pod and attacked Trig, but he was able to fend the creature off and find a hiding space. Kale found him a short time later, and the brothers tried to make their way back to the others. Unfortunately, they were confronted by the re-animated corpse of their father, which tried to attack them. Solo managed to grab Trig and pull him to safety, but Kale was injured when another re-animated corpse cut his leg open. Cody tried to remove the contagion as best she could, but she was unsure if she had eliminated it completed. In the meantime, the group made their way to the derelict Star Destroyer, in an attempt to discover what was happening and make their escape. Unknown to Trig, Kale was killed when a group of re-animated corpses attacked him and Doctor Cody. Thus, when he saw Kale disappear into a chamber, Trig tried to follow him. Trig found himself inside a room that was filled with mangled body parts, and was confronted by several re-animated corpses that were feeding on the flesh. He managed to escape from these corpses, but was confronted by Kale's dead body. Kale tried to attack his former brother and infect him, but Trig managed to wrestle Kale's body to a ventilation shaft and throw it into the vent, where it was torn apart.
Trig thought that his problems were over, until he was confronted by the shambling corpse of Aur Myss. Myss managed to drag Trig off a ledge overlooking the ventilation shaft, and they would have falled into a group of other corpses if Jareth Sartoris hadn't swept in with a hovercraft. Trig landed on the small vehicle with a thud, dislodging Myss and sending the Delphanian to his second death. Sartoris was accompanied by Han Solo and Chewbacca, but refused to stay with them. Instead, he ordered Trig to fly the hovercraft to the Star Destroyer's hangar bay and locate a young officer named White, before escaping from the ship. Sartoris then told Trig that Von Longo had been a good many, before jumping off the vehicle in an attempt to kill himself. The three of them were later reunited with Doctor Cody, and they found the shuttle Sartoris had told them about. White had been killed while saving Doctor Cody, leaving just four survivors from both ships. After making their escape and returning to the galactic community, Trig and Cody remained together, and traveled to various worlds to deliver the final messages from crew members that Cody had found aboard the Purge.

Longo, Von
This man and his two sons, Kale and Trig, were arrested by Imperial forces on their homeworld of Cimarosa and charged with being rebel agents, more than a year before the Battle of Yavin. Von, distinguished by his intense blue eyes, was an aging man who wanted nothing but the best for his family. He was known as an excellent chef to his family, and often spent a good deal of time preparing hearty breakfast meals. Much of his life was spent on the fringes of the galaxy, working among thieves and counterfeiters to buy and sell contraband. However, whenever he was home, Von made sure to spend as much time with his sons. He passed on much of his practical knowledge about how the galaxy worked, hoping to give them the skills and smarts they needed to survive, regardles of which government was in power. This did not stop the Empire from throwing them into prison, then transporting them to a penal colony aboard the prison barge Purge. In the weeks that followed, Von did his best to make sure that his sons were as safe as possible, and had planned to cut a deal with Sixtus Cleft when he was sent to the infirmary. What happened at the infirmary was unclear, but Jareth Sartoris was implicated in Von's eventual death, following a statement from Doctor Zahara Cody. His body was kept in the simple morgue aboard the ship, pending an investigation when the crew arrived at Detention Moon Gradient Seven, but the Purge experienced engine problem and was stranded in the Unknown Regions. An attempt to salvage parts from a derelict Star Destroyer led to the infection of the entire population of the Purge, and the strange contagion eventually reached Von Longo's dead body. The contagion entered his body and began to reproduce, and eventually was able to re-animated the body. Von's corpse began to move about the ship, and soon encountered his son Kale. Kale was stunned by the sudden appearance of his dead father, which allowed another re-animated corpse to infect Kale by attacking his leg.

Desha's father was a diplomat from Ryloth, and she had spent more than a year working as an intern before being hired by the Chief of State's office. Desha was quite appreciative of the job offer, and gave every effort to make sure that she earned Daala's continued trust and confidence. This led to a difficult assignment when Wynn Dorvan, Daala's chief aide, assigned Desha with the task of tracking the locations and activities of certain key members of the Jedi Order, following the actions of Natua Wan and the chaos she caused at the Coruscant Livestock Exchange and Exhibition.

Lorteli, Arabelle
This Zoolli woman the judge who was appointed by the Galactic Alliance Chief of State, Natasi Daala, to preside over any legal matter that involved the Jedi Order, some two years after the end of the Second Galactic Civil War. Judge Lorteli succeeded Judge Zudan and Daala's hand-picked legal counsel, during Daala's attempts to bring the Jedi Order under control. One of the first things that Judge Lorteli did was authorize the warrant for the arrest of Tahiri Veila, who had been responsible for the killing of Gilad Pellaeon during the war. Judge Lorteli was known for her exquisite taste in furniture and style, and her offices were filled with state-of-the-art LevitaRest furniture and artwork from a variety of periods of galactic history. These offices were heavily scented with the fruity that Judge Lorteli preferred. In the courtroom, however, Judge Lorteli often appeared embarrassed by her own position, and her high-pitched voice served as a reminder that she lacked any real judicial power. At the arraignment hearing followed Veila's arrest, Judge Lorteli initially refused to acknowledge Veila's lawyer, Nawara Ven, and when Ven himself refused to reveal whether he was still be paid by the Jedi Order, Lorteli explained that she would not accept him as Veila's legal counsel. Lorteli went on to question Veila directly, ignoring Ven's objections to what was obviously a formality in determining Veila's guilt. Although Judge Lorteli refused to allow Ven to continue as Veila's legal councsel, she did sign a writ that allowed a group of Jedi Masters, including Corran Horan and his wife, Mirax, to visit the carbonite-frozen bodies of their children in a Galatic Alliance prison.

Mandalorian Blockade
The Mandalorian Blockade occurred during the era of the Great Galactic War, when Mandalorian forces cut off large sections of the Hydian Way and the Rimma Trade Route. This left the Galactic Republic without a way to defend its member worlds, and brought a halt to trade and commerce to planets along both hyperroutes. Military actions proved largely ineffective, as the Mandalorians savagely held their ground. Mandalorian control of the Hydian Way and the Rimma Trade Route continued until a group of independent spacers known as the Smuggling Contingent stepped in to get supplies to impoverished worlds in the Core regions. Although their initial intentions were quite humanitarian, Hylo Visz also saw a chance to reap incredible rewards for herself and the members of the contingent. Her plan for breaking the blockade was quite simple, and involved the element of surprise, hoping that the Mandalorians would not know what to do when confronted by smugglers. Visz and the other smuggling leaders filled their largest transports with supplies and raw goods, before making hyperspace jumps to the choke points of the blockade. She timed the reversion to realspace so that the smuggling ships were no less than a parsec from the Mandalorian ships, giving the Mandalorians reason to question what was happening. In the brief time she was given, Hylo Visz ordered her ragtag fleet of attack ships to drop out of hyperspace and attack the Mandalorians. Although initially outgunned by the Mandalorians, the smuggling ships were much smaller and more manevuerable, and they were soon assisted by Republic warships from nearby worlds, after communications from the blockade told of the attack. This combined force managed to drive off the Mandalorians and smash the blockade, opening up trade once more.

Marcy, Ione
This thin-bodied, female being was discovered by Tera Sinube and Ahsoka Tano at the apartment of Nack Movers, during the height of the Clone Wars, when the two Jedi were searching for Ahsoka's lightsaber. The two Jedi believed that Movers had purchased the weapon from Bannamu, but arrived to find that Movers had been killed by an unknown assassin. Distinguished by her pinkish skin and vertical-lidded eyes, Ione Marcy was hiding in the apartment when the Jedi arrived, and claimed to have been coming home when she discovered Movers' dead body. She went to explain that a male being had probably killed Movers, although Ahsoka discovered the obviously-female Cassie Cryar hiding in the apartment's bedroom. Sensing that she was lying, Master Sinube tried to arrest Marcy, but she bolted out of the apartment and fled the scene in an airspeeder. She then recovered Cryar, who had managed to escape from Ahsoka Tano with the lightsaber, and the pair fled into the underbelly of the city. Although they believed that they had made their way to freedom, Ione Marcy was unaware that Master Sinube had attached a tracking beacon to her clothing. Although Cryar discovered the beacon and smashed it, the Jedi were already hot on their heels, forcing the pair to flee into a crowded speeder station. A group of police droids quickly apprehended Marcy, while the two Jedi tracked down and captured Cryar a short time later.

This was the term used to describe the secret installation that was built by Natasi Daala, after the destruction of the Maw Installation and her initial defeat by the military forces of the New Republic. Daala retreated to the Maw cluster of black holes to lick her wounds and re-establish her military power. It was here that Daala amassed the so-called Maw Irregular Fleet, before she rejoined the Imperial Remnant. Daala also trained a group of intelligence agents, many of whom were Force-sensitive, to gather data about the state of the galaxy, in an attempt to understand the rest of the galaxy and determine when the time would be right to make her presence known once again. In the wake of the Second Galactic Civil War and the destruction of Centerpoint Station, many of the intelligence agents who had been scattered across the galaxy began to feel strong sensations of longing, and were driven to return to the Maw Colony. Daala refused to allow them to abandon their posts, causing many agents to believe that the war had been started to expose their positions and their own desires. These agents did whatever was necessary - stealing starships, stowing away on various ships - to return to the Maw, where they found Sinkhole Station and discovered the existence of the Mind Walkers.

Merrik, Tal
This man served as the Senator from the planet Kalevala, during the height of the Clone Wars. He also served as an advisor to Duchess Satine Kryze of Kalevala, after she was named to lead the Council of Neutral Systems. This gave Senator Merrik close access to the Duchess, and he was among the handful of Senators who traveled with her to the planet Coruscant to argue for peace. Unknown to the Duchess and her escorts, who included Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker, Senator Merrik was secretly working for the Separatists. It was Merrik who set a cargo of assassin probes loose on the Duchess's starship, the Coronet, during the trip to Coruscant. Although Kenobi was unaware of this, he correctly assumed that a captured assassin probe would not react when brought into contact with Senator Merrik. Upon being exposed, Merrik drew his blaster and grabbed Duchess Satine, holding her at blaster-point as a hostage while he tried to make his way to the bridge. Once there, Merrik murdered the command crew and took control of the ship, dropping it out of hyperspace to make contact with Pre Vizsla and explain that he had the situation under his control. A Separatist boarding arrived shortly afterward, but Senator Merrik decided not to take any chances on his escape. He wired the ship's engines to a remote detonator, and when Kenobi tried to capture him on the bridge, he threatened to trigger the destruction of the engines if he wasn't allowed to escape with the Duchess. When Satine and Kenobi expressed their suppressed love for each other, Merrik was momentarily distracted by the show of emotion. Satine took the opportunity to step on his foot, causing Merrik to flinch in pain. Satine managed to slip out of his grasp and grab his weapon, and Merrik quickly fond himself being held at blasterpoint. Thinking that neither the Duchess nor Kenobi would act to harm him, Merrik turned to escape, but was cut down by Skywalker, who defended his actions by stating that he had eliminated a terrorist who threatened to blow up Satine's ship.

Mind Drinkers
This was the Basic translation of the term used by the Aing-Tii to describe the strange beings who lived inside Sinkhole Station near the Maw cluster of black holes. These beings preferred to call themselves Mind Walkers, referring to the way that they used the Force to leave their physical bodies behind in order to find the truth about the galaxy.
(FJ2, FJ3)
Mind Walkers
This was the name chosen by those individuals who gathered at the derelict space station known as Sinkhole Station, near the Maw cluster of black holes, where they could commune with the Force in their own way. The Aing-Tii referred to these individuals as Mind Drinkers, because their devotion to their beliefs seemed to drain away their minds, instead of nurturing them. Mind Walkers were individuals from a wide range of Force users, including the Jedi Order, the Disciples of Ragnos, the Fallanassi, and dozens of other groups that discovered their ability to commune with the Force. These beings had all come to the realization that the physical world in which they lived was nothing more than a fantasy, and that the only real world existed completely within the Force. They eventually shed their individual beliefs about what the Force was, and simply accepted that the Force existed. The physical world was no longer important, since it was nothing more than a form chosen by the Force. The chose to ignore their bodies and devote their lives to entering a coma-like state in which they were connected almost directly to the Force. They twisted the Jedi Code to their own beliefs, stating that "There is no life, there is only the Force." These beings referred to their activities as mind walking, instead of mind drinking, but over time their physical bodies began to deteriorate due to a lack of sustenance and care, while the individual's mind was immersed in the Force. Within the Force, Mind Walkers discovered their Force presence, which was essentially a swirl or eddy in the Force that animated the physical body. Each Mind Walker abandoned their physical body, which they had deemed an illusion, in search of a "paradise dimension" in which there was no pain, no emotions of anger or fear, and no suffering. Instead, the Mind Walkers sought a place where they could experience the ecstacy of simply being. The station in which they hid themselves also suffered during their prolonged periods of mind walking, and many its systems were barely operable. When Luke and Ben Skywalker discovered the station some two years after the end of the Second Galactic Civil War, they found that many of the Mind Walkers were either injured or badly under-nourished. They also learned that the station's alarms had been ringing for some twenty-seven standard months, and had started ringing just after the destruction of Centerpoint Station. This event triggered one of the greatest influxes of beings to Sinkhole Station, but it also seemed to alter the existence of the "paradise dimension" that the Mind Walkers sought.
(FJ3)
Mind Walking
This was the term used by Qwallo Mode, Seek Ryontarr, and the other Force-sensitive beings who were drawn to the Maw cluster of black holes to describe the form of all-consuming meditation they performed. These individuals, who called themselves Mind Walkers, gathered within Sinkhole Station located near Stable Zone One, where they were free to follow their beliefs. The term "mind walking" stemmed from the sensation that was experienced while in a state of deep communion with the Force. Individuals explained that when they tried to move their Force presence within the Force itself, they seemed to be at their destination without actually trying to get there, as if they only had to think about moving in order to do it. The Mind Walkers believed that life itself was only a dream, and that their bodies were simply ghosts from an endless sleep. They preferred to stay in their meditative state, forgoing nutrition and other physical needs, in order to live in the netherworld of their minds' connection to the Force. This meant that the beings who engaged in mind walking literally starved themselves to death in order to avoid staying in the "dream world" of life. For this reason, the Aing-Tii referred to those individuals who practiced mind walking as Mind Drinkers, because they allowed their minds to be consumed by the Force, to the detriment of their bodies. The Mind Walkers, however, claimed that the Force would sustain their bodies until they returned to them.

Minker was one of the first Jedi to realize that Jysella Horn was experiencing a strange affliction, when she suddenly attacked him in the Jedi Temple. He was forced to draw his lightsaber in order to defend himself, and Jysella was able to force him into a room and lock it. Although he was trapped, Minker was able to use his lightsaber to cut his way out. Later, Radd was one of two Jedi Knights, along with Natua Wan, who escorted Han and Leia Solo and their granddaughter, Allana, to the Coruscant Livestock Exchange and Exhibition. The Solos had hoped to get Allana to come out her shell, followed the death of her father, Jacen Solo. Although the outing began well enough, Natua began to experience one of the Force psychoses that was affecting many young Jedi Knights. She tried to reach the control center of the Grand Event Center and open all the creature pens, hoping to either trap or kill all of the "imposters" she saw in the crowd. Jaina Solo joined the others as they tried to capture Natua, and it was Jaina's distraction that allowed Radd to sneak up behind Natua and jump onto her. He kept himself from using the Force, so as not to alert Natua to his presence, then rammed his head into her skull, knocking her unconscious. Although the at proved to be quite effective, Radd was nonetheless embarrassed at having hit Natua so unceremoniously. In the days that followed, it was Radd Minker who suggested to Han and Leia Solo that they take one of the nexy cubs that had been orphaned at the livestock show as a pet for their granddaughter. Radd explained that it was only right for the Solos to take in the cub, as a way of showing justice to nature.

Mode, Qwallo
This young Duros was one of the Jedi Knights who served the galaxy during the years that followed the Swarm War. About a year after the end of the Second Galactic Civil War, Qwallo Mode disappeared on a regular courier run in the Tapani Sector. When a thorough investigation turned up no evidence of his whereabouts, the Jedi Council was forced to conclude that he had died while on the mission. When Luke Skywalker and his son, Ben, traveled to the Maw cluster of black holes about a year later, they discovered a being who bore an uncanny resemblance to Qwallo Mode floating in the area known as Stable Zone One. The being they encountered was floating in space without any form of protection, and fired a portable missile launcher at the Jade Shadow as it moved through the space between two black holes. The Skywalkers survived, and reached Sinkhole Station, a strange, derelict space station hidden within the Maw. There, they encountered another being that looked like Qwallo Mode, although this time the being appeared to have been at the station for some time. Blood loss from a thigh injury had left the Duros quite pale, and his emaciated body gave the impression that he had not eaten in a long time. The Skywalkers fixed the injury to his leg, but Mode did not rouse from his state of slumber. Qwallo eventually returned to consciousness during the treatment, and demanded to return to the mind walking that he was engaged with. Luke agreed to let him return, but asked him about the mission and his disappearance. Qeallo Mode revealed that he had experienced a moment of confusion during the mission, and that he had the distinct feeling that everyone around him had been replaced by imposters. This correlated with the strange Force-related psychoses that were being experienced the young Jedi Knights who had been kept safe at Shelter base, although it gave the Skywalkers more questions than answers.

Myss, Aur
This Delphanian criminal was the leader of the Face Gang that formed aboard the prison barge Purge, about a year before the Battle of Yavin. Although the Face Gang was formed as a work crew, Aur Myss and his lieutenants made no effort to hide the fact that they were also the strongest of the gangs that roamed the ship's Gen Pop areas. In order to maintain his position of power, Myss dealt with his enemies in brutal fashion. His actions were not reserved for the general prisoner population, as evidenced by the fact that he had his chief lieutenant, Sixtus Cleft, executed after it was learned that Sixtus was making deals with other groups of prisoners. Among the prisoners who were working with Cleft were Kale and Trig Longo, who found themselves in deep trouble for their dealings with Sixtus. Rather than bow to Myss's demands, however, Kale Longo reached out and grabbed Myss by the jewelry that hung from his face and pulled, ripping Myss' lower lip off. This gave the brothers a chance to escape, but Myss knew that they could not go very far. He placed a ten-thousand-credit bounty on the Longos' heads, knowing that someone on the ship would turn them in. Myss then arranged to have himself transferred to a detention cell that was next to the cell that contained the Longo brothers, in order to further terrorize them into submission. When the Purge experienced engine trouble and a repair crew was dispatched to a derelict ship to salvage parts, they brought back with them a strange contagion that swept through the ship. Within hours, prisoners and officers alike were dying from the infection, including Myss himself. Without someone to monitor them, the locks on the detention cell bars were opened, and Myss made his move to kill the brothers. He attacked Kale first, giving Trig on opportunity to eliminate the Delphanian by strangling him. Myss, who seemed to have been infected, whirled around and grabbed Trig, but this allowed Kale to pick up a knife and stab Myss in the skull, killing him instantly. However, the contagion inside Myss' body eventually reproduced in sufficient numbers to re-animate his corpse, and the shambling body set out to kill any other survivors and infect them with the contagion. When the survivors made their way to the derelict Star Destroyer, Myss was able to follow them, and soon hunted down Trig Longo. Myss might have killed Trig when their struggle took them to a wide ventilation shaft and they fell into its depths, but Trig was rescued by Jareth Sartoris, who had located a hovercraft and swooped in to catch the youth. The impact of hitting the shuttle dislodged Aur Myss, and the Delphanian fell to his second death.

The news show that Needmo hosted was quite popular following the end of the Second Galactic Civil War, primarily because a good portion of the broadcast focused on news that was actually good, and not the violence and other misanthropic events that tended to dominate other newscasts. Needmo aired one of the first stories that described the Galactic Alliance's arrest of Tahiri Veila, following the resignations of Melari Ruxon and Reeqo, in which he openly questioned how the resignations of many Jedi Knights might affect both the Jedi Order and the stability of the government that ws being run by Chief of State Natasi Daala. Operation Caranak
Named for a obstinate water bird that was native to the Forest Moon of Endor, this was the tongue-in-cheek term used by Jagged Fel to describe one of the clandestine missions he undertook with Jaina Solo, during the years that followed the end of the Second Galactic Civil War. The pair were forced to use such stealth tactics after their relationship became public knowledge, and reporters started to follow them everywhere. Outwardly, Operation Caranak was supposed to look like a dinner date between them, hoping to throw reporters off their trail when their rendezvous looked like nothing more than a meal. Jagged's role at dinner was played by Karn Valanti, while Jaina was portrayed by Lina Zev. Jaina and Jagged called ahead to make private dinner reservations at the Indigo Tower, where Valanti and Zev were already in position. Any reporters who followed the pair would be forced to wait outside their private dining room, allowing Jaina and Jag to slip out the back while Valanti and Zev had a romantic meal together. Any reporter who managed to sneak a recording device into the dining room merely caught a young couple having dinner, unaware that their actual targets were no longer in the restaurant. Thus, any reporters who happened to follow the couple were led on a wild caranak chase.

Shortly after the Battle of Yavin, two groups of beings arrived on Kamino and began to disrupt Elo Panil's work. One group was made up of rebels led by Luke Skywalker, and the other group consisted of the mercenaries who were following Skywalker. Among the rebels in Skywalker's group were Han Solo and Chewbacca, who stumbled upon Elo Panil in his hidden research lab. Panil gave the two rebels a haughty laugh when they demanded that he come with them, explaining that he was too busy with his own research to leave it behind. Panil then revealed that the strange creature that was terrorizing Research City had been his creation, a creature with durasteel claws and a venomous sting that could either kill its prey or capture it and return the prey to its lair. Han and Chewbacca offered to take Elo Panil away from Research City, but the elderly Kaminoan refused to abandon his research. Elo Panil then called in Imperial reinforcements, hoping to eliminate the rebels and prevent further distractions to his work. The rebels remained on Kamino, and managed to rescue Skywalker and the mercenary named Div from a group of creatures that Panil had developed. This angered the Kaminoan, and he set out to kill the intruders with his own blaster. Div managed to fire his own weapon at Panil's position, causing a chunk of duracrete to strike Panil in the shoulder and drive him to the ground. The rebels then escaped from Research City, leaving Panil and his research in tatters.

This was the term used by the Mind Walkers to describe the state of perfection that they sought to find within the Force. This was the "paradise dimension" of the Force, where an individual's presence could experience the pure and simple joy of simply being. Pauling
This man was one of the few survivors of the Star Destroyer crew that was infected with the strange contagion that was developed as part of the Blackwing operation, during the years leading up to the Battle of Yavin. Pauling and Commander Gorrister rounded up a small group of crewmen who were immune to the contagion, and they managed to hide within the fuselage of a Sentinal-class shuttle while the rest of the crew was killed by the contagion and then re-animated. In order to survive, Gorrister and the others drew lots to see who would be cannibalized to ensure the continued survival of the others. They had been inside the shuttle fo ten weeks when they were discovered by Captain Jareth Sartoris of the prisone barge Purge. Sartoris refused to become their next meal, and killed Gorrister and threw several others to the re-animated corpses, hoping to use the distraction to break from the shuttle and deactivate the Star Destroyer's tractor beam. Pauling was still in the shuttle when Sartoris left, and managed to hang on long enough for another group of survivors - including Trig Longo, Han Solo, and Chewbacca - to locate them. Unfortunately, before the group was able to make its way to safety, a group of re-animated corpses attacked and killed Pauling, ripping his body to pieces in order to feed.

This idea of a chasm of Perfect Darkness mirrored an ancient Tythonian belief that any being seeking enlightenment had to pass through a deep dark canyon that was surrounded by tall, crumbling cliffs.

Perre Needmo Newshour, The
This was a popular evening holonewscast that aired on the public networks of the planet Coruscant, during the years that followed the end of the Second Galactic Civil War. What drew viewers into this hour-long newscast was the fact that its host, an elderly Chevin named Perre Needmo, focused at least a third of its time on stories that were actually good news, and not repeated reports of violence and other misanthropic events. Han Solo watched this newscast whenever he had a free evening, although his viewings became more regular after his granddaughter, Allana, started watching. She had originally seen the show after awaking from a bad dream, and Han asked her to sit on a couch with him while he watched. Over time, watching The Perre Needmo Newshour became a family tradition, with Han and Allana sipping hot chocolate while catching up on the latest news. Pollo, Fallon
This grizzled, old man was one of the handful of pilots who survived the tests of Imperial agent X-7, who gathered a group of pilots near Iope to test out their skills. X-7 was searching for Luke Skywalker, during the months that followed the Battle of Yavin, and hoped that he could take advantage of the galaxy's best pilots to help him hunt down and eliminate Skywalker. Pollo was a life-long pilot who hoped to take on a job that would earn him enough credits to retire in relative comfort and ease, and spent ten years in pursuit of this dream job. When he found the job and completed it, however, Pollo found that retirement was not for him. He liked flying too much, and being retired meant more boredom than he could handle, so he decided to take the offer from X-7. Pollo and three other pilots - Div, Clea Sook, and Grish B'reen - managed to survive X-7's tests, and were given the opportunity to hunt down Skywalker. Their first encounter with Skywalker took place over the planet Kamino, but Pollo's Preybird fighter was shot down during the ambush. He crashed into one of the structures that made up Research City, and barely survived the explosion of his ship. As it was, he suffered a deep cut to one of his legs, and he was forced to limp to safety. However, his arrival on Kamino had attracted the attention of the strange creature that lived beneath Research City, and the creature attacked and consumed Pollo before he could draw his weapon to defend himself.

Pool of Knowledge
According to the Mind Walkers, the Pool of Knowledge was a place where a truly enlightened individual could discover "all that has passed, and all that is to come". However, the individual first had to successfully resist the temptation of the Font of Power, before they could discover the location of the Pool of Knowledge. Once a being had proven themselves strong enough to ignore the Font of Power, they were given the chance to bathe in the Pool of Knowledge. Just looking into the Pool of Knowledge could be a revelation, as the reflection that was shown to an individual showed their true self, as determined by the Force itself. Luke Skywalker visited the Poll of Knowledge, some two years after the end of the Second Galactic Civil War, on a self-imposed mission to follow in the path of Jacen Solo, and learn what might have made the former Jedi turn into Darth Caedus. Luke looked into the pool and saw a haggard man who seemed to have aged well beyond his years, but he refused to wade into the Pool's waters. Seek Ryontarr revealed that Jacen had also passed beyond the Font of Power and had refused to bathe in the Pool of Knowledge, although he did remain at the Pool for a long time, until he had seen what he came to see. Like the Font of Power, the Pool of Knowledge was a physical manifestation of the environment envisioned by the Force presence known as Abeloth. For those individuals who chose to move beyond the Pool of Knowledge, Abeloth awaited them at the Throne of Balance.
